Founded in 1995 and serving Staffordshire and surrounding counties, the Staffordshire Marquetry Group is one of the youngest groups affiliated to the Marquetry Society. Despite its youth the Group was delighted to be invited to host the 47^th National Marquetry Exhibition in 1999.

Based in the small market town of Eccleshall it holds weekly meetings where members meet to work on their latest projects, ask advice from colleagues and purchase veneers and materials from the Group "shop".
