Staffordshire Marquetry Group

2000 Group Competition

The project for 2000 was an item of applied marquetry - a small box - with the choice of veneers and design left open. The boxes, roughly 180 x 60 x 50 mm, were ready-made from a local craft store with a simple lift-off lid.

Twelve members took part, entering a total of fifteen boxes.
