| 1999 Trophy The '1999 trophy' was presented to the Group by its founder, Quentin Smith, to mark the Group's hosting of the Marquetry Society's National Exhibition in 1999. The Trophy is awarded to the member, chosen by popular vote, who has contributed the most to the aims of the Group by service to the Group or marquetry achievement.
